Mobile app¶
The Coach Studio app on the phone uses the same account as the web app. After you sign in, the bottom bar has three tabs: Home, Alerts and Menu.
Signing in¶
The screen asks for Email and Password, then Sign in. Sign in with email code switches to a 6-digit code: Send code, then the 6-digit code. Resend code only comes back after a countdown. Sign in with password goes back to the other mode.
There is no password recovery and no Create a personal account on this screen. That is done on the web. If the email is not confirmed yet, the password is refused; the email code confirms the account, as on the web.
The session stays on the phone for about 30 days, until Sign out (at the bottom of Home). An account that is only a player or a parent, with no active record at any club, sees Your account is deactivated (athlete or guardian with no active profile). Contact your club.
When you sign in, the phone asks permission for notifications.
Home¶
Home is the club dashboard: Summary (KPIs), Next game, Next practice, Shortcuts, Latest results and Birthdays (the next 60 days). Customize widgets changes rows and columns, as on the web, and the layout is saved per club.
Anyone with a player or parent role also sees My statistics.
Menu¶
Menu lists the modules. The line under the name says whether it really opens or is not ready yet.
The app starts in Portuguese. After you sign in, it uses the language saved on the account. The Language card on Menu switches between Português and English and stores that choice on the account: changing it here also changes the web app, and changing the language in the web profile applies here on the next sign-in or the next time you open the app with the session still active.
| Module | What it does |
|---|---|
| Athletes | The roster. People who can edit change the record, the photo and injuries. |
| Staff | The club's technical staff. |
| Teams | The season's teams, roster and expectations. People who can edit change the team and its staff. |
| Games | Games, the score, the call-up and statistics. People who can edit save the game. |
| Practices | The list, call-up, attendance and report. People who can only view open the practice read-only. |
| Cycles | Macrocycles for the visible teams, with mesocycles, microcycles, load and a report. View only. |
| Drills | Not in the app yet. The line says This module will be migrated to mobile in the next phases. |
| Plays | The same: not ready yet. |
| Club | The same: not ready yet. |
| Alerts | The menu card opens the Alerts tab. |
What each person can open follows the same club permissions as the web. A coach sees the teams they are linked to. A director sees the club.
Club and season¶
When you sign in, the app picks the default club or, if you have only one, that club. With several clubs, Menu shows Switch context: each card is a Club or the Personal workspace.
The season is the season in force at the moment you sign in. There is no season selector on the phone. Practices, games and teams are those of that season.
Personal workspace¶
In the Personal workspace, Home explains that teams, athletes, venues, practices, cycles, drills and plays are handled on the web. Switch context goes back to a club. The Alerts tab disappears.
On Menu, Practices, Cycles, Drills and Plays stay visible but do not open: the line says to continue in Coach Studio web. Athletes, staff, teams, games and club do not appear in this context.
Players and parents¶
The web My area page does not exist here. On Home there is My statistics (per game, totals and averages). On the Alerts tab, a call-up lets you answer I can't attend: you write the reason (at least 2 characters) and press Confirm absence. If the call-up includes more than one of your children, pick the athlete first. After sending, the app shows Absence recorded. Coaches have been notified. The rest of that area — messages to the coaching staff and the team card — is in Athlete and parent area.
Games, practices and teams the account can see on the web also open on the phone, limited to the athlete's teams or the children's teams. Menu still shows the other cards. Without permission to view, the module shows You do not have permission to view this content. instead of an empty list. Drills and plays do not open for anyone yet.
Notifications¶
The Alerts tab lists the account's notices for this club. Opening an alert marks it as read. Close leaves the detail. With no notices, you see No alerts.
If you allow notifications on the phone, the same notice (a call-up, an absence, and the others the club sends through the app) can arrive outside the app. The text is the alert's text.
